Where users upload or process files through SpeculaFree, document content may be handled as part of the workflow. Where encryption features are implemented, they are used to reduce unnecessary exposure of document contents.

We use information to provide and operate the platform, allow users to access their accounts, manage document workflows, protect accounts and documents, troubleshoot technical issues, respond to enquiries, maintain security records, improve reliability, and meet legal, contractual, or operational duties where required.

SpeculaFree may use third-party authentication providers to help users access their accounts securely. When users sign in through an authentication provider, we may receive basic account information such as an email address and authentication identifier so we can create or access the user’s SpeculaFree account.

We only use authentication information for account access, identity matching, security, and platform operation.

SpeculaFree is designed for sensitive business document workflows. Depending on the feature used, documents may be uploaded, encrypted, processed, signed, stored, retrieved, or shared with authorised recipients.

Some workflow metadata may be required to operate the service, including recipient email addresses, document status, timestamps, envelope identifiers, and signing progress.

These may include access controls, authentication controls, encrypted transport, encrypted storage or client-side encryption where implemented, restricted operational access, and internal security procedures.
